What is an Escape Sequence?

An Escape sequence in C is a way to represent hard to type or invisible characters on the output screen. Escape sequences always begin with a backslash.

\b Backspace (non-erase)
\f Form feed/clear screen
\n New line
\r Carriage Return
\t Tab
\v Vertical tab
\\ Backslash
\? Question mark
\’ Single quote
\” Double quote

    Hi, I need to prompt a user for values to be stored in an array but i don’t want the cursor to move to the next line everytime they press enter to input the next value. Any advice? Thanks
